The flavour cube app is my first dive into UI and UX design.
The Flavour cube app uses AI and flavour science to teach people how to not only learn to cook, but to teach themselves to develop their own recipes and develop a better understanding as to what makes food great.
Visuals inspired by vintage Food packaging (bold type and colour palette)
The app has the user pick from a base ingredient to cook, and add to it by rotating the flavour cube, with each side being one of the key flavours. They pick from a series of AI generated ingredients, allowing for choice but still pushing them in the right direction. At every stage they can choose to learn about how flavours pair together to inform later recipes.
